PELC

The Partnership of East London Co-operatives delivers a range of high-quality primary and urgent care services to North East London. As well as managing a successful, long-standing out-of-hour service for 1.1 million patients, we have implemented an effective subcontract infrastructure to deliver a 111 call centre -resulting in improved performance and a more refined customer journey. PELC also play an extensive role in supporting and improving A&E Depts and Urgent Treatment Centres (UTCs).

We have some of the highest utilisation rates at one of the busiest emergency departments in the country. Additionally, we are developing a new urgent treatment centre model at the front door of the ED in order to administer the appropriate care to patients in a more timely and effective manner.

Our GP and wellness services have also been integrated into HMP Chelmsford. There, we are not only improving the day-to-day life of prisoners, but also giving GPs an opportunity to enhance their clinical skills by engaging in prison healthcare.

We champion effective process, positive workplace environment and innovation in order to deliver the best possible results for our patients.
